A safe, just and equal world for women

CTRL + ALT + SAFETY WEBINAR

February 6, 2025
In an age where the digital world is a part of everyday life, the safety of young women and girls online has never been more important.

Did you know that 77% of girls and young women experienced online harm? As professionals dedicated to supporting young people, or as parents striving to protect your children, this is a statistic we can no longer ignore.

We have over 25 years of experience working with young women, girls, and vulnerable groups in the fields of domestic abuse and criminal justice, we understand the critical need for early intervention. We believe online spaces should be safe and empowering, not places of harm. That’s why hosted our CTRL+ALT+SAFETY online discussion where we explored the key challenges faced by young women and girls online and offered practical, expert-led strategies to help them stay safe while still enjoying everything the internet has to offer. The discussion included:

  • The dangers of online harassment, bullying, and abuse
  • The importance of healthy digital habits and boundaries
  • Ways to intervene early and equip young people with the right tools for online safety

We also launched our comprehensive toolkit designed to empower young women and girls with the knowledge and skills to navigate the digital space safely.
