Regional Team & Centre Manager  

Contract: Permanent

Salary:      £32,000 – £34,000 per annum incl. London Weighting, depending on experience*

(*£32,000 paid for those with less experience; £34,000 paid for those with considerable skills and experience

in similar or transferrable roles).

Working Hours: 35 hours per week according to contract terms

Work Location: Based at one of the two London Regional Women’s Centres (West/Hammersmith or North/East) London boroughs, with travel across 8 London boroughs required. 

As an experienced manager with a proven track record of leadership in providing services to women in the criminal justice system or similar, the post holder will lead and manage the pan-London Minerva Wraparound service and Women Centres in one of the two West and North/East London regions, across 8 boroughs.  She will also lead on and develop the specialist programme of workshops and groups, to be delivered locally and at the women’s centre, as well as other specialist services, in partnership with 10 voluntary sector organisations, and the statutory agencies of each borough.

She will be responsible for the operation of the service, ensuring outcomes and impact are delivered in line with the funder requirements, and manage the relationship with partners and funders in delivery of this service at the required standard within her region. She will also ensure delivery of quality systems, ensuring high quality of service and safeguarding standards.  She will be responsible for recruiting, developing and managing the Regional Coordinator and Keyworkers and Specialist staff.

Each keyworker works with up to 50 women per year and are co-located at the boroughs, and at the Regional Centre as required.  The Regional Team & Centre Manager is based in Advance’s Regional Centre (either West/Hammersmith or North/East) for 2 days a week, and will require frequent travel ( up to 3 days a week) to several boroughs in London to support the staff, build networks and services with statutory agencies and other service providers, and partners.
