As a result of significant growth over the past two years to £4m income and 100 staff, Advance is now able to provide vital specialist women’s services across London and in partnership on national projects.

In this newly created role, reporting to the Chief Executive, you will lead an ambitious fundraising strategy to grow and diversify our income, both restricted and unrestricted, in line with our five year strategy, so that we can continue to develop our services and programmes to support the needs of women and children survivors.  We expect that growth will primarily come from trusts and foundations, institutional and statutory partnerships, as well as major donors.

We are therefore at a turning pointing in our approach to funding and are  making significant investments into our capacity and capability.  As our Head of Business Development, you will work across the organisation with your team to help deliver a step change in Advance’s approach to identifying, securing and managing funding in line with our programme ambition.

You will also manage and support the Fundraising Manager to establish and further develop relationships with multiple statutory and institutional donor partners and to develop bids for statutory and institutional grants and contracts.

This is a  London based, full time role but for the right candidate there can be some flexibility on this.

Salary: £50,000 – £55,000

Work Location: Hammersmith, west London

Benefits: 30 days annual leave plus bank holidays and  discretionary  1 day for international women’s day, workplace pension.
